Free Press, a new organisation dedicated to media reform in the United States, is hosting a conference in November aimed at democratising debates around media policymaking, reports "The Progressive."
The National Conference on Media Reform will take place from 7 to 9 November in Madison, Wisconsin, and feature panelists from a wide range of political and activist communities. The conference will cover a broad range of media issues, including media ownership rules, public broadcasting, Internet regulation and billboard advertising. It will also bring activists together to network and strategise on joint actions and campaigns.
