MISA OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SOUTHERN AFRICAN JOURNALISTS

The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) offers scholarships for journalists from Southern Africa to help them gain new technical skills and broaden their socio-political understanding of the region.

Geared towards journalists, media managers, editors, advertising executives, media entrepreneurs and production staff, the scholarship exchange programme pairs up media outlets with participants for internships lasting up to three months. Travel and other costs are covered by MISA. All applicants must be members of MISA.

There is no application deadline. MISA considers each application on an individual basis.

Full details of the programme are available at: http://www.misa.org/exchange.html

For more information, contact MISA by e-mail: jennifer@misa.org; Telephone: +264 61 232 975; or Fax: +264 61 248 016.
