2007 ASIA DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD


The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy is accepting nominations for its second annual Asia Democracy and Human Rights Award (ADHRA). The award recognises the work of individuals and organisations that make substantial contributions to democracy and human rights in Asia. The winner will receive a grant of US$100,000.

The first ADHRA went to Reporters Without Borders (Reporters sans frontières, RSF) for its work in promoting press freedom in the region.

Deadline for nominations is 30 June 2007.
