IPYS SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR BEST CORRUPTION REPORTING IN LATIN AMERICA


The Institute for Press and Society (IPYS) and Transparency International are calling for entries for their sixth annual Best Investigative Report on Corruption in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Supported by the Open Society Institute, the US$25,000 award is open to print, radio, television or online journalists who exposed significant aspects of a corruption case between 1 January and 31 December 2007 and had their story published in the Latin American media. Two runners-up will each receive US$5,000.

The deadline for applications is 30 March 2008.
