CJFE CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR 2009 INTERNATIONAL PRESS FREEDOM AWARDS

Canadian Journalists for Free Expression (CJFE) is seeking nominations for its annual International Press Freedom Awards, which recognise journalists who put their lives at risk to ensure citizens stay informed. In 2008, CJFE honoured journalists from Sudan and Zimbabwe.

The deadline for nominations is 30 April. Organisations or individuals wishing to nominate a deserving journalist can download the form here:
