2009 Bastiat Prize competition

Journalists from around the world are invited to apply for the 2008 Frédéric Bastiat Prize, which honours articles that explain the principles and institutions of a free society with eloquence and wit. The deadline for entries is 30 June 2009.

The US$15,000 prize, administered by the U.K.-based International Policy Network, will be split among first, second and third place winners. A new, US$3,000 Bastiat Prize for Online Journalism will also be awarded.
