As China looks ahead to hosting the Olympic Games in 2008, Human Rights Watch has launched a new website to raise awareness of key issues it believes will be under the international spotlight, including freedom of expression.

China Olympics Watch focuses on media and Internet censorship; labour rights and the forced evictions of people from their homes to make way for the Olympics. The website contains tools for tracking developments in these issues and for using the Internet to promote human rights in China.
