(RSF/IFEX)- Reporters Without Borders is pleased to learn that A.S. Mani, the editor of the Tamil magazine "Novena Netrikkan", was freed on bail on 27 November 2009 after being held for a month in the southeastern state of Tamil Nadu. Relatives told Reporters Without Borders that he returned home at midday. He still faces defamation charges.
