HRW SPOTLIGHTS CHINA, IRAN AT UN HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION


As the United Nations kicks off its 59th annual session of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in Geneva next week, IFEX members are preparing statements and briefs calling attention to free-expression violations in many countries around the world. The commission is meeting from 17 March to 25 April to review the global state of human rights, including freedom of expression.
