A panel discussion exploring human rights abuses on the Internet and breaches of freedom of expression linked to Internet regulation is being aired on 10 December to mark International Human Rights Day.

The programme "Viewpoint" will showcase the event, "Human Rights: Under attack on the Internet?" The panel, filmed on 4 December, comments on violations against free speech with some countries blocking entire websites and censoring content and blocking access to certain domain names, among other rights abuses.

The event was produced and filmed by the Council of Europe, a 47 member-state intergovernmental organisation working on human rights and democracy issues.
