The best cartoons on impunity
As a part of the International Day to End Impunity campaign, IFEX held an editorial cartoon contest, calling for submissions that best depicted impunity for crimes against free expression.
The response was overwhelming. We received almost 500 submissions from 55 countries. The gallery above highlights the top submissions, as voted by the public on our Facebook page.
From this gallery, a panel of judges from Cartoonists Rights Network International selected the top three.
Congratulations to the winners, and to all those who participated!
First place: Jiri Srna, Czech Republic
Second place: Motaz Ahmed, Egypt
Third place: Elihu Duayer, Brazil
