Printer's offices vandalised

A group of protesters attacked Sama Press, printers of the "Himalayan Times" and the "Annapurna Post" dailies, at Bhainsepati on 22 June 2009.

More than 500 people vandalised the printer's offices, breaking window panes and creating extensive damage to the building in protest over an article published in the "Annapurna Post" on the death of Khyati Shrestha, a Grade 12 student of Jubilant College and Research Center.

FNJ has condemned the attack on Sama Press.
