Some political leaders are providing protection to people who are threatening and attacking journalists and media, thereby encouraging a climate of impunity, says RSF.
The report, available in English and Nepali, is the result of a 12-month project conducted in partnership with IFJ affiliate the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).
According to the Freedom Forum's information, impunity is behind the rising number of threats against the media.
