(MADA/IFEX) - The Palestinian Center For Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) condemns the firing of gunshots by unknown individuals at freelance journalist Mustafa Sabri's home, around midnight (local time) on 11 February 2010 in Qalqilia city in the West Bank.

Sabri's wife, Leila Doud, said she heard gunfire outside her house, where she was with her children. She called the Palestinian security forces, who found that two bullets had penetrated the fence surrounding the property.

Sabri was arrested by Palestinian preventive security forces on 4 January 2010. His home was previously fired at on 6 November 2008.
