ARTICLE 19 LAUNCHES ACCESS TO INFORMATION ONLINE GUIDE

Want to expose corruption, unearth environmental hazards, uncover mismanagement of food supplies but don't know where to start? Learn your rights on how to get information with ARTICLE 19's latest online publication, "Guide for a Campaign in Favour of the Right to Access Information in Latin America", available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The guide is a one-stop information source for anyone interested in promoting access to information laws, particularly in Latin America, where only a few countries have proper access to information legislation. The guide explains - in a manner accessible for non-experts - what exactly access to information is, what should be included in a good access to information law, and how to campaign for one. Also included is an interactive map with an overview of pending and existing laws in Latin American countries and a "further reading" list.

The guide is available at: http://www.article19.org/work/regions/latin-america/FOI/
