MAGAZINE SEEKS SUBMISSIONS FOR FREE-EXPRESSION ISSUE

The Foundation for Human Rights Initiative, a Ugandan non-governmental organisation, is seeking submissions for an upcoming issue of its human rights journal "The Defender," focusing on freedom of expression and human rights.

While articles are not restricted to African issues, they should emphasize the important connection between human rights and freedom of expression.

"The Defender" is published twice a year and features in-depth articles on human rights and democratization in Uganda. However, it also reports on experiences from other countries as well.
