Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA)'s correspondent reported that about 10 journalists, all of whom are from the electronic media, had gone to Nana Akufo-Addo's residence following an invitation to cover his next line of action after the Electoral Commission had announced the results of the run-off elections held on 28 December.

The correspondent said GTV, the state television station, was the first to be driven out by an official of the party. At the dismissal of GTV's crew, the party supporters also started driving out all the journalists in the house.
