23 November is the International Day to End Impunity!

Today, 23 November, is the International Day to End Impunity. The IFEX community has chosen this day to raise awareness about impunity and honour those who have been silenced forever for exercising their right to freedom of expression. This day is a solemn reminder of the risks taken to inform the public and speak truth to power. It is also meant to be a day to recognise the work IFEX members and others are doing to combat impunity and to inspire action everywhere to demand justice and advance efforts to stop impunity in the killings of journalists, musicians, artists, politicians, and other free expression advocates.

Visit the International Day to End Impunity website where you can learn more about impunity:
• View a world map highlighting IFEX member's work to raise awareness of impunity
• Watch case studies on combating impunity from members from Russia, Colombia, the Philippines and the United States
• Join our Conversation on Impunity live from Vienna and have your questions answered by the experts at 17:30 GMT Wednesday 23 November

Engage with IFEX members worldwide; demand an end to impunity.
